Kab. Mojokerto (MTsN 2) – MATSAMA (Masa Taaruf Siswa Madrasah) adalah pengenalan peserta didik baru kepada lingkungan madrasah. Beberapa hal yang harus diketahui oleh peserta didik diantaranya tata tertib dan nilai-nilai norma yang berlaku, kegiatan belajar dan mengajar, pengembangan karakter dan moderasi beragama, fasilitas dan infrastruktur pendukung pembelajaran, kegiatan dan organisasi kesiswaan. Oleh karena itu MTsN 2 Mojokerto, melaksanakan kegiatan MATSAMA secara online yang dimulai hari Senin s.d. Rabu, tanggal 12 s.d. 14 Juli 2021.
Kepala MTsN 2 Mojokerto Nur Kholis membuka MATSAMA secara online. Dalam sambutannya, ia menyampaikan terima kasih kepada panitia atas terlaksananya kegiatan MATSAMA secara online. Selain itu, anak-anak harus mengikuti materi dan memahami materi yang disampaikan narasumber sampai selesai. Ia juga menjelaskan kegiatan MATSAMA dilaksanakan secara online karena kondisi sekarang ini, masih dalam keadaan pandemi apalagi adanya PPKM (Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat). Meskipun MATSAMA dilaksanakan secara online anak-anak harus tetap melaksanakan protokol kesehatan dengan cara 5M (mencuci tangan, memakai masker, menjaga jarak, menjauhi kerumunan, mengurangi mobilitas).
Nur Kholis dalam sambutannya juga menyampaikan tujuan diadakan kegiatan Matsama adalah agar anak-anak mengenal lingkungan madrasah yang dipaparkan oleh para narasumber melalui saluran Youtube dengan harapan anak-anak mengetahui kondisi MTsN 2 Mojokerto.
Ketua MATSAMA, Sulatin mengatakan bila potensi diri diketahui sejak dini akan menjadi solusi bagi peserta didik khususnya dan umumnya semua orang. Dengan potensi diri; orang tua, guru, dan peserta didik tidak bingung lagi, akan kemampuan yang dimilikinya. Sehingga langkah kedepan untuk menjejak masa depan kian pasti. Dengan banyak tempaan, masa depan cerah akan segera dicapai.
Sulatin juga menjelaskan kali ini MATSAMA dilaksanakan dengan pertemuan dalam jaringan. Siswa baru dikenalkan segala hal tentang madrasah melalui aplikasi. Bahkan pengumpulan tugas pun dilakukan secara online. Walaupun dengan segala keterbatasan yang ada, MATSAMA tahun pelajaran 2021-2022 terlaksana dengan baik, dan semangat siswa baru siap maju untuk menjemput asa. (SKN Enik S)
