Terkait program pembentukan Kampung Moderasi Beragama, Kepala KUA Beserta para Penyuluh Agama Islam KUA Kecamatan Kutorejo, melanjutkan langkah demi terbentuknya Kampung Moderasi beragama, setelah Rapat Koordinasi Pembentukan Kelompok Kerja/ Pokja KMB, pada tanggal 15 Maret 2023, maka kami lanjutkan dengan pembentukan rintisan Kampung Moderasi Beragama, Dengan penetapan SK Pokja KMB yang diketuai oleh Bpk. Kepala KUA Kutorejo Ubaidillah, S. Pd. I, maka kami para penyuluh melanjutkan untuk menyerah kan SK kepada segenap anggota Pokja. Termasuk Kami serahkan kepada Beliau Bpk. Kepala Desa Gedangan Bpk. Witono, dan sekaligus menggali Sejarah dan profil tentang Desa Gedangan, tepatnya pada hari Rabu, tanggal 9 mei 2923 kami hadir di balai Desa tersebut, dan disambut baik oleh Bpk. Kepala Desa, Kali ini kami menggali Bagaimana sejarah/legenda Desa tersebut, kegiatan keagamaan, kerukunan beragama nya, dan gotong royong ketika ada orang meninggal, sangat rukun mereka saling berbela sungkawa, sesuai agama dan kepercayaan, kalo beda agama ya tetep hadir sebagai rasa bela sungkawa.
