Alhamdulillah, kabar membanggakan lagi diraih oleh Group Shalawat MIN 2 Mojokerto. Dalam kemeriah peringatan HUT RI ke-78, Group Shalawat MIN 2 Mojokerto mendapat juara 1 dalam festival Shalawat Al Banjari yang diselenggarakan oleh pihak kecamatan Mojosari pada tanggal 12 Agustus 2023.
Shalawat Al Banjari merupakan salah satu kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di MIN 2 Mojokerto. Shalawat Al Banjari menjadi bagian dari kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di MIN 2 Mojosari bertujuan untuk mengembangkat bakat dan minat siswa-siswi MIN 2 Mojokerto khususnya dalam melantunkan shalawat yang diiringi dengan musik rebana Al Banjari.
Penampilan di panggung Festival Al Banjari kemarin merupakan penampilan pertama dalam festival. Selama ini group shalawat al Banjari MIN 2 Mojokerto tampil dalam kegiatan PHBI yang diselenggarakan madrasah.
